Reading Olympics

On Wednesday May 20th, BCA Students in grades 6 through 8 participated in the city-wide Reading Olympics competition, held at the University of Pennylvania. Over the course of the school year students read many books and the competion was a chance to showcase their reading comprehension analysis skills against their peers from other schools.

On Thursday May 18th, BCA Students in grade 3 through 5 also participated in the Reading Olympics held a Philadelphia University. Both groups of students performed extremely well in the competition. Please pray that the students will continue to hold on to that life long love of reading as they progress on their academic journeys and beyond.

Race For Education

On Monday, May 15, 2017 Blair Christian Academy held its annual Race for Education event. Students from the youngest toddlers through 8th grade ran as many laps as they could to raise money from donors who sponsor them. The proceeds go towards Blair Christian Academy's scholarship fund which helps families with financial need be able to attend the school.

This year's race was a big success with over 60 students participating.>br> Click Here to see photos from this year's race. - Click to View

BCA would like to thank all of the individual and corporate sponsors who donated to help support the event, and also tthe volunteers who came out to the school to help coordinate and run the event itself. We would also like to commend and congratulate the students who gave their all and really left it all out on the track. We look forward to an equally successful campaign again next year.

To God be the Glory!
